Makeup tips for London weather !

Sure, you remember how hard is it to keep your makeup spotless during the rainy season. The fall is pretty harsh both with face, hair and body in general. In order to be able to flash our best side it is essential to bunch up the most vital tips to maintain our makeup dazzling. Apply these tips and bring out the best of your look even during monsoon season.
Fall often promises quick and surprise showers that can ruin our look in the blink of an eye. Though there\'s no need to quit using makeup it is still wise to acquire all the helpful professional tricks and face the rainy days with confidence and style. As the seasons change it is recommended to learn the new way of applying cosmetics and using the right products our skin really requires. Besides the vital skin care rituals there are other practices that must be applied for the best results.

The keywords when it comes of monsoon makeup are water-proof and light makeup. These are two qualities that are quintessential to survive the autumn with a flawless look. If you manage to adopt the tendencies of the season you\'ll see the beneficial results pretty soon. Smudging and other makeup disasters can be easily prevented if you approach the problem from the right angle. Let\'s see the most important makeup tips for rainy season.

Makeup Base

- MAC -
Body and Face Foundation is awesome for rainy weather

Beginning at the base it is worth mentioning that often the main cause of smudging is the excessive foundation use. Those who find it indispensable might still use a thin coat of it however it should be preferably water resistant. Moreover choose the right shade that\'s closer to your natural skin tone.

Powder will prove to be the best tool to offer a slight shimmer and mask the beauty flaws at the same time. This will stick to your complexion rather than any kind of foundation. It will require a quick touch up during the day, however it guarantees the spotless effect.
Those who have a great complexion should totally eliminate this product of the daily makeup list, instead it is more advisable to use a concealer than to apply a sheer powder.

Eye Makeup

- GOSH -
Waterproof eyeshadow
Rain immediately means waterproof mascara. Since a normal mascara would quickly smudge when in contact with humidity it is recommended to use a special formula that will resist the extreme weather conditions.
It is a well-known fact that these products can\'t be washed off so easily. However with the use of the proper makeup removers this problem will be also ruled out.
Makeup artists also recommend switching the dark eye shadows with the more natural and sheer colors preferably also with a waterproof quality. The colors of the season offer endless options to look great even if the weather outside is gloomy.

Blush

- Make Up For Ever -
Waterproof Blush

It is a common mistake that ladies seem to commit during each monsoon season. Namely that they use a blush with an inappropriate texture. The rainy days scream for complex compositions, that\'s why it is a golden rule that when sporting a monsoon-proof makeup we should choose a mousse or cream blush that can resist the impact of humidity.
The makeup gurus often neglect the use of blush during the fall season instead practice a smashing trick. They use a bit of lipstick you can spread with your fingernails and the effect is just as gorgeous as with the use of blush.

Lip Makeup

 - Make up For Ever -
Aqua Rouge
Waterproof Lipstick and gloss

Lip gloss is the top notch no-no beauty product of the monsoon season. It might get in contact with humidity which can result in smudging and at least said unflattering look. That\'s why you should rather rely on high quality lipstick that will fabulously top your makeup. There are several formulas and brands on the market that guarantee a long-lasting effect.
Make sure you test it beforehand in order to avoid any lip makeup accidents. You can either go for the blood red lips effect or rather for the classy and natural makeup trends. Choose the one you can pull off with great style in order to perfect your monsoon look.

Spring Clean your Beauty Regime

TAKE GOOD CARE YOUR BEAUTIFUL SKIN

Refresh

Cleansing is a vital part of any skincare routine and often the most overlooked. It is the first step to getting a radiant, healthy complexion as proper cleansing rids the skin of excess oil, dirt and make-up, re-balances the skin and prepares the skin for the absorption of other products.
Tip: Always “double cleanse” your face at night; first to remove your make-up and then again to clean the skin.

Replenish

Another important factor in maintaining a youthful, vibrant skin is moisturizer. For a revived complexion choose products that will address your main skincare concerns such as dullness, fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin texture or dryness. Add a serum to your routine for an extra moisture boost as these generally absorb faster and penetrate deeper than most creams or lotions.
Tip: Keep in mind that the extra moisturizing cream that got you through the chilly winter months may be too rich for the warmer season, so try switching to a lighter formulation for spring.
And don’t forget about that gorgeous body that you have been hiding beneath layers of clothing all winter. Elbows, knees, heels and toes can suffer after a season spent in jerseys, tights and boots.
Tip: Choose products that contain vitamin C which stimulates collagen production, protects against free-radicals and promotes an overall healthy and vibrant complexion.

Renew

Now is the perfect time to renew your complexion by removing the layers of dead skin that have built up over winter, and stripped your skin of its shine. Exfoliating regularly helps to get rid of the top layer of dead skin cells, allowing your moisturizer to penetrate deep enough to rehydrate the skin, leaving it looking brighter and softer.
Tip: If you have a very sensitive skin, opt for a gentle exfoliating mask instead of a scrub.
The best way to start repairing the skin and prepare for the beautiful weather ahead is to treat yourself to an exfoliation and moisturizing treatment such as the DMK Enzyme Therapy Treatment. This is perfect for removing damaged skin cells. It tightens, tones and firms the skin, leaving it looking fresher and younger. And while you're there don’t forget to ask for a Danne Medi-Pedi that will leave your feet smooth, soft and supple, ready for some sexy summer sandals.
Remember that protecting your skin from the sun is the final and most important step in rejuvenating your skin and preparing it for the hot summer months to come. Using a cream with a suitable SPF daily is still the best way to delay the signs of aging.

Beauty Secrets Every Teen Should Know

Or, What We Wish We Knew 20 Years Ago

"No, I'm not! I'm not a tomboy! I love my makeup! That's not true! I'm not a tomboy!"
-- Hilary Duff, Academy Award-winning actress
There's nothing worse than getting advice from older people, we know, we know, but the truth is some advice is worth taking and keeping, especially when it comes to fun beauty tips.

Skip the foundation

If you have acne the first thing you want to do is slather on the thick foundation. Don't. Foundation is for women over 30. Not only will it cover up your natural beauty, but foundation on a teenager looks anything but natural. Instead, cover up blemishes with concealer, then follow with a powder or tinted mosturizer. Tinted moisturizers tend to be lighter than heavy foundations.

Play up your lips or your eyes, never both

If you wear smokey eyes, go for nude lips with just a bit of gloss. Prefer the drama of dark lipstick? Keep face light (stay away from heavy blush) and wear only mascara on your eyes and a light eyeshadow. Don't heavily line your eyes. Play up both and you'll look like a clown. And never, ever line lips in a darker color than your gloss or lipstick.

Less is more

Ever notice how some of your friends look best with no makeup at all? No matter your age, too much makeup makes you look worse. If you wear foundation, powder, blush, liner, mascara, eyeshadow, lip liner and gloss on an everyday basis, then you're overdoing it. Tone it down: All you really need is a great mascara, concealer for blemishes and gloss. Add a pop of blush in winter.

Natural hair is always hot

If you have super dark hair, lighten your look by going a shade darker or getting lighter highlights. Blonde? Try highlights, especially framing the face. We see too many teens lightening their hair several shades and the look can be super-tacky, not super-fabulous. The trick is to let people assume you were born with sun-kissed hair, not that you gave yourself a bad dye job from a bottle. More hair color tips here.

Vaseline is your best friend

Vaseline is a great, cheap eye makeup remover. It's also great for fixing chapped, scaly lips. Slather on a bunch of Vaseline, then use a toothbrush to massage lips. Wipe the excess off on a tissue. Your lips will be smooth and soft.

7. You can never go wrong with layers Long layers are great for any hair type: Super curly, straight or wavy. It makes thin hair appear thicker, curly hair appear manageable and wavy hair appear just-got-back-from-the-beach sexy. Just make sure you don't get too many layers cut in. Too many short layers is dated.

Acne? Get thee to a dermatologist, stat

Biggest mistake people with acne make? Not going to a dermatologist. Forget those $150 jeans you covet. Getting rid of those pimples will be the best investment you'll ever make. And the only guaranteed way to do it is with a dermatologist.

Spend money on key beauty products

Not sure what to splurge on and what to save on? I give you the scoop in this article. See if you should splurge or save on cleansers, mascara, concealer and more.

Buying foundation or lipstick? Test it first

There are some beauty products you simply must try out at a department store or Sephora before you buy. These include: Foundation, lipstick, blush and powder. Buy these products in a grocery store and you'll be lucky if you picked the right color for your skin tone. What you can get away with without testing: Mascara, eye liner, most basic eye shadows and lip gloss.

When can you skip sunscreen ? Never

Here's a trick we wish we knew: The first beauty product you should apply every day is sunscreen, even if it's cloudy or rainy outside. Why? Good habits start young and if you use sunscreen now, you'll have gorgeous skin when you're 50, 60, 70. Remember, the sun's UV rays can penetrate clouds and car windows.

Wrapping hair around the barrel creates waves

There's nothing cooler than long, layered waves. To get them, wind hair AROUND the barrel of a large curling iron. Reverse direction for each 2-inch section (wind up for one, down for another).

Self-tanner will always stink

Unfortunately, even the best ones smell. Your best bet is to apply self-tanner a good 24 hours before an important event and take a shower (don't loofah) to wash off any smell. For really big events like a dance or wedding, consider a professional spray tan. These are pricey and don't last long, so make sure to do it a day before the big event.

Don't let nails go

Not into manicures and pedicures? No worries. Just make sure to keep nails clean and the same length. If you do want to paint them, don't keep the polish on until half of it's chipped away. Also, there's nothing worse than too-long toenails. Keep nails clipped between pedicures! People tend to judge others by the care they put into their hands and feet.

Don't line the inside of your eyes

It will make your eyes appear smaller. Instead, line just at the lash line. Also, an obvious line doesn't look natural. Smudge the line just a bit. >

16. Oily hair? Try baby powder at your roots

If you have blonde hair, sprinkling a bit of baby powder on your roots and at your crown will soak up excess oils. If you have brown hair, you might be better off with a dry shampoo for your hair color.

Shave legs at the end of the shower

Cut down on nicks and cuts by making shaving the very last step in your shower or bathing ritual. 9 more shaving tips here .

Know your best feature and play it up

What feature do people comment on most? Play it up. If you're told you have Angelina Jolie lips, make sure to wear gloss and play with bold lipstick colors. If it's your eye color people love, find eyeshadow colors that complement them and make sure to wear mascara. Also, know what color shirts look best on you and go shopping.

Scrubs are great for dry skin

If you have dry, itchy skin in winter, invest in a scrub and handmitts and scrub away in the bathtub. Make sure to slather on a thick moisturizer afterward. For dry, callous-y feet, buy a pumice stone. They work better than any of the other wimpy options on the market.

Remember: Beauty is mostly internal

Think about a girl you know who's overweight yet all the guys love her. Why? Because she's confident. If you aren't wearing makeup and your toes haven't been repainted in weeks, if you're happy and smiling you will still be 10 times prettier than the mopey cheerleader sitting next to you in class. Trust us (wink).

Concealer Trick

You pat concealer in, you never rub it in

This is a beauty trick every magazine touts. When applying concealer, put a bit on the pad of your middle finger and pat it in. Never rub. Got acne? Pat the concealer on top of it.

Cover those sad baggy eyes after crying

If you don't want to show that you're heartbroken and that you've cried...

Read on!

At one time or another we all have to deal with puffy eyes after crying. It can happen when you are at home, at work, or out at an event. Since many people will notice that you have cried, it may be embarrassing. You will need to know what to do if something like this happens to you.
Here are some tips that you can try to help with this problem. Make sure that you always have some spare eye makeup with you always so that you can do touch-up work if you need to. By putting the eye makeup on correctly, you can also minimize any telltale signs that you were crying. You should also make sure that you have a mirror along with you too. That way you can fix your makeup from anywhere that you are at.
The problem of puffy eyes after crying can be solved by placing an ice cube in a paper towel. Be sure that you don't leave it on the eyes too long. Only leave it on for a couple of minutes or until it gets too cold.
In order to deal with puffy eyes, you can use two spoons that have been chilled in the freezer. You hold the spoons on your eyes for about 10 minutes. This works really well.
Another great way to reduce puffy eyes after crying is to take two slices of chilled cucumber and place them on your eyes. Leave them on for 10 minutes. You can also use a cold compress on your eyes. This will help tighten the blood vessels around the eyes and reduce the amount of puffiness.
When dealing with puffy eyes after crying, remember these tips. They surely will come in handy during any occasion where tears might be shed, and you will feel confident that you will look fine, tears or no tears.

If this is your case... I personally just want to say you are absolutely beautiful in every single way... And don't let anybody tell you otherwise.
I too cried on Valentines Day... Because I was just so tired of being alone EVERY SINGLE Valentines Day... But I cried and got it over with, cause I know my man is out there and when I get him... Then I'll too have my Happy Ever After Fairytale

Like I always say... 'Oh the longer the waiting.. the sweeter the kiss'
Much love from me to you

Doctor's Beauty Secrets

Did you ever stop to think why so many dermatologists have such flawless skin? Could it be genetics, or have they been obsessed with complexion care from childhood? To find out, I went right to the sources and got eight top skin doctors to divulge everything -- from the skin-saving habits they've adopted to the products they can't live without.

1. Never use the same product year-round.
"Because skin is a living organ that's constantly affected by everything from hormones to humidity, I use a variety of products -- some only in certain seasons and others just on certain days," notes 40-something Susan Taylor, M.D., director of the Skin of Color Center at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. In winter, when her skin is drier, she uses a moisturizing cleanser like Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser ($6; at drugstores). In summer, she switches to normal-to-oily formulations like L'Oréal Plénitude Hydra Fresh Foaming Gel ($5; at drugstores).

2. Always wash your face before hitting the sheets.
"Get the goop off your skin before you go to bed," says 43-year-old San Francisco-based dermatologist Kathy Fields, who is meticulous about her nightly face-washing routine. (What doesn't get wiped off migrates into the pores, where it sets the stage for blemishes, she explains.) Fields suggests using cleansers formulated with pore-purging benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid like Clinique Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam ($17.50; clinique.com) and Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash ($5.79; at drugstores), both with salicylic acid.

3. Get enough shut-eye.
Sleep deprivation can result in puffy eyes, sallow skin and breakouts, says 48-year-old Chappaqua, N.Y., dermatologist Lydia M. Evans, M.D. (You need from eight to nine hours nightly.) If you do end up with morning puffiness, New York dermatologist Amy B. Lewis, M.D., swears by Neova Eye Therapy ($40; dermadoctor.com), which contains the anti-inflammatory ingredients found in Preparation-H.

4. Soak away stress.
While any form of relaxation will do wonders for your skin, Lewis loves bubble baths. "I take them to unwind four or five nights a week," says the 38-year-old director of dermatologic and laser surgery at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. State University of New York. (Lewis likes anything fruit scented, like Origins Fretnot tangerine bubbling bath, $22.50;

origins.com.)

5. Give skin the rub.
"Exfoliation makes skin more radiant," says 46-year-old Katie Rodan, M.D., associate clinical professor of dermatology at Stanford University in Stanford, Calif. An advocate of chemical and mechanical exfoliation (think topically applied creams and lotions as compared with scrubbing granules or a Buf-Puf), Rodan uses a scrub like M.D. Formulations Scrub ($35; mdformulations.com) on her face every morning and a vitamin-A-based wrinkle-smoothing, skin-sloughing prescription medication like Renova ($60 per tube) at night. Her reason for the two-pronged approach (which should be worked up to over several months to prevent irritation): "Physically sloughing off dead skin cells loosened by vitamin-A creams will help your moisturizer better penetrate the skin and your makeup go on much more smoothly."

6. Hydrate your skin from the inside out.
"It's not possible to have good skin if you don't drink enough water," says Mary Lupo, M.D., associate clinical professor of dermatology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, who downs a minimum of six glasses a day. "When you're dehydrated, your skin is one of the first organs to show it."

7. Waste not, age not.
"After applying sunscreen to my face, I rub whatever is left on my hands onto my neck and chest, two areas people always forget," says Lewis, who uses sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 every day. (You can also do the same thing with anti-aging creams.) Dermatologist-recommended sunscreens include Avon Skin-So-Soft Moisturizing Suncare Plus SPF 30 ($12; avon.com) and SkinCeuticals Ultimate UV Defense Sport SPF 45 ($34; skinceuticals.com).

8. Give skin below the neck its due.
"We often neglect the skin on our bodies," says Evans, who makes sure to give herself an in-shower sloughing with a body scrub (which can get rid of dead skin cells and make skin smooth) every other day. "You would have to use a washcloth very harshly to get the same results you get from the fine granules of a good scrub," she adds. (Try Clarins Exfoliating Body Scrub, $28; gloss.com, or Aveda Smoothing Body Polish, $18; aveda.com .)

9. Feed the skin with exercise.
"Exercise boosts circulation and keeps oxygen and nutrients flowing to the skin, giving it a fresh, radiant look," says 35-year-old bicoastal dermatologist Karyn Grossman, M.D., who never misses her 6:30 a.m. run -- either outdoors in Santa Monica or in the gym when she's in New York City. She's also an avid hiker and loves to sail and scuba dive. Lewis takes a more low-key tack to fitness: three one-hour sessions of Iyengar yoga every week at her local gym.

10. Don't let skin go up in smoke.
"I don't just not smoke, I avoid smokers and smoky situations at all costs," Lupo says. "When I make a reservation at a restaurant and they ask, 'Smoking or non?' my reply is, 'Not even close.'" Smoking constricts the capillaries, depriving the skin of much-needed oxygen, Lupo explains.

11. Always apply moisturizer after washing hands.
Dry, indoor air, cold weather and frequent washing can suck the moisture out of the skin on your hands. Grossman knows from personal experience; she estimates that she washes her hands at least 30 times a day. Grossman's favorite: Aquaphor Healing Ointment ($8; at drugstores). Others to try: Vaseline Intensive Care Renew & Protect Lotion ($2; at drugstores) or Dr. Hunter's Rosewater & Glycerine Hand Creme ($10; caswellmassey.com).

 12. Feed your face with vitamin C.
"I put vitamin-C products in the hedge-your-bets category," says Rodan, who uses one under her sunscreen to combat the free radicals produced by whatever ultraviolet light that gets through. A study published in the Swedish dermatology journal Acta Dermato-Venereologica showed that when used with a sunscreen, vitamin C provided added protection against ultraviolet B (sunburn-causing) and ultraviolet A (wrinkle-causing) rays. Rodan's picks: serums that contain L-ascorbic acid, the form of vitamin C shown in studies to be more readily absorbed by the skin's cells. Products that contain L-ascorbic acid include Cellex-C High-Potency Serum ($90; 800-CELLEX-C), SkinCeuticals Topical Vitamin C High Potency Serum ($60; skinceuticals.com) and Citrix Cream L-Ascorbic Acid 10% ($50; clavin.com).

13. Experiment with caution.
"I spend several thousand dollars a year trying new products, but I don't try them all at once," says Lisa Airan, M.D., clinical instructor of dermatology at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, who's in her early 30s. Airan routinely sees patients with dermal disasters -- like breakouts and red, raw skin -- caused by overuse of products. Those particularly susceptible: women with acne or sensitive skin, who should only use products formulated for their skin type unless otherwise directed by their dermatologist.

I hope there is some helpful tips for you to get your face clean and flawless. I sure am going to do a lot of these points.

The Top 10 Superfoods for Gorgeous Skin and Hair

The secret to healthier hair and glowing skin? It's not in your makeup case. It's in your diet. Nutritionist Lisa Drayer, MA, RD, author of The Beauty Diet, says these superfoods will give you gorgeous skin and beautiful hair.

Blueberries

This low-profile berry was ranked number one in antioxidant activity by the U.S. Department of Agriculture compared to 40 common fruits and vegetables. The antioxidants in blueberries protect you from premature aging, so add half a cup to your yogurt or cereal every day

Wild Salmon

Wild salmon -- not farm-raised -- is one of the best food sources for omega-3 fatty acids, which helps keep your skin supple and moisturized. Salmon also has selenium, a mineral that protects the skin from sun exposure. The vitamin D in salmon keeps your bones and teeth strong and healthy, too. You won't have a problem adding salmon to your diet since there are hundreds of ways to enjoy this beauty superfood. Try it grilled, baked, in your pasta, with a salad, in sushi, or just with a side of asparagus.

Spinach

This leafy green vegetable is rich in nutrients and antioxidants. Spinach is loaded with lutein, which keeps your eyes healthy and sparkling. Spinach is also a good source of vitamins B, C, and E, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, and omega-3 fatty acids. Trade your lettuce for spinach, or saute spinach for a quick, healthy side.

 Oysters

The jury's still out on whether oysters are really aphrodisiacs, but they are a good source of zinc, which aids in skin cell renewal and repair. Zinc also keeps your nails, hair, and eyes healthy. Who needs an aphrodisiac when you look and feel beautiful?

Tomatoes

Tomatoes are the best source of the anti-aging antioxidant lycopene. Surprisingly, lycopene in tomatoes is more easily absorbed by your body when it is cooked or processed, so make sure to stock up on canned tomato sauce, tomato juice, and ketchup.

Walnuts

You don't need to eat cupfuls of walnuts to enjoy their many benefits: smoother skin, healthy hair, brighter eyes, and strong bones. Get your daily dose of nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E by eating a handful by themselves or throwing some in your salad, pasta, or dessert.

Kiwis

This small, brown, fuzzy fruit is loaded with vitamin C and antioxidants, which keep skin firm, help prevent wrinkles, and are great for healthy bones and teeth. The antioxidants in kiwis also protect you from cancer and heart disease.

Dark Chocolate

We won't judge you if you keep a secret stash of chocolate in your purse or desk (or both). In fact, we recommend you do -- especially if you're willing to share. Dark chocolate helps skin stay hydrated and protects skin from sun damage, and contrary to popular belief, chocolate does not cause acne. Before you make a mad dash to Godiva or Ghirardelli, however, keep in mind that the best kind of chocolate has a high flavanol content and should be at least 60 percent cacao.

Yogurt

One cup of low-fat yogurt has more calcium than a cup of fat-free milk, which is great for your posture, nails, and teeth. Mix it with fruit or granola for a healthy breakfast or that essential mid afternoon snack.

Sweet Potatoes

You should be eating this superfood more often than just at Thanksgiving. Sweet potatoes are packed with beta-carotene, an antioxidant that fights aging.
Hate them mashed? Try them cut up and roasted with herbs or onions for an easy, awesome side.

Health Benifits of Raisins

Raisins are indispensable when it comes to dry fruits. Those golden, green or black colored delicacies are favorites of almost everybody, especially children. Raisins are widely used worldwide in cuisines (especially in desserts), health tonics, as snacks and also as food for mountaineers, trekkers etc.
Raisins are obtained by drying grapes (green or black), either in sun or in driers, and look like golden, green or black gems. Indeed they are like gems when their nutritional values and health benefits are considered.
Let us watch their brilliance.

Constipation: When ingested, raisins swell as the fiber present in them in dried form absorbs water. This helps giving relief in constipation.

Weight Gain: Raisins, like all dry fruits, are very good for gaining weight, as they are full of fructose and glucose and give a lot of energy. Thus, they form an ideal part of the diet for either athletes or body builders who need a lot of energy or those who want to put on weight, without accumulating cholesterol. This is further boosted due to presence of many vitamins, amino acids and minerals (such as selenium, phosphorus etc.) in raisins which facilitate absorption of other nutrients and proteins in the body.

Acidosis: Acidosis is a state of increased acidity of the blood (also known as toxicity of the blood) or of the gases in our respiratory system, the source of acids for both being our stomach. This is very harmful for the body as it may give rise to a number of problems like boils, skin diseases and damage to the internal organs, arthritis, gout, renal calculi, hair loss, heart diseases, tumors and even cancer. Raisins are good source of potassium and magnesium (two of the most popular constituents of antacids, being basic in nature) both of which are very effective in reducing acidity. They neutralize the acids and thus help check acidosis.

Anemia: Raisins contain considerable amount of iron which directly helps treating anemia. It also contains many members of vitamin-B complex which are essential for formation of blood. Copper in them also help formation of red blood cells.

Fever: Phenolic Phytonutrients, well known for their germicidal, anti biotic and anti oxidant properties, are present in abundance in raisins and help cure fever by fighting viral and bacterial infections.

Sexual Weakness: Raisins are known to stimulate libido and induce arousal, primarily due to presence of an amino acid called Arginine, which is beneficial in treating problems in erection. It has been a common practice in India to make the bride and the groom drink a glass of milk each, boiled with raisins and added with a pinch of saffron. It is also recommended for those suffering from sexual weakness, to consume raisins regularly. This effect is aided with the presence of lot of energy in raisins.

Bone Health: While Calcium, which is the main constituent of bones, is present in raisins, it is one of the best sources of Boron, a micro nutrient (a nutrient required by the body in very small amount as compared to other nutrients) which is very necessary for proper bone formation and absorption of calcium. Boron is particularly helpful in preventing osteoporosis induced by menopause in women and is very beneficial for bones and joints.

Eye Care: Raisins contain polyphenolic phytonutrients which have anti oxidant properties which are very good for ocular health, as they protect eyes from damages caused by free radicals (oxidants), such as macular degeneration, age related weakening of vision, cataract etc. In addition, it contains very good amount of vitamin-A, A-Beta Carotene and A-Carotenoid, all of which are essential for a good ocular health.

Dental Care: Oleanolic Acid, one of the phytochemicals present in raisins, plays crucial role in protecting your teeth against tooth decay, cavities, brittleness of teeth etc. It effectively prevents growth of Streptococcus Mutans and Porphyromonas Gingivalis, two of the species of bacteria which are most responsible for cavities and other dental problems. In addition, it is rich in calcium which is very good for promoting dental health, as it prevents breaking or peeling away of teeth and enamel and makes them strong. One more interesting thing about raisins is that the longer they stick to your teeth, the better, as it ensures longer contact of Oleanolic Acid with the teeth preventing growth of bacteria. In addition to above, boron present in raisins plays a very important role in checking growth of germs in the mouth as well promotes health of bones and teeth.

Skin: Raisins help to keep your skin healthy. It prevents break outs and pimples. TRUST ME, IT WORKS

Other Benefits: Catechin, a phenolic anti oxidant present in raisins, is very effective for prevention of tumor and cancer of colon. The fibers in it help excretion of bile from the body, burning of cholesterol and thereby ensuring good cardiac health.

SMOOTHER SKIN

LEMON JUICE & SUGAR

Yeah, you read quite right... Take a small bucket or something you can squeeze the lemon juice in.
Through a tablespoon of sugar in your little container,
then squeeze (carefully) an amount in your container that just makeup the sugar into a kind of paste.
Scoop out a reasonable amount with your fingers and use it as a scrub.
Vuala the perfect scrub

Trust me this really works.
The lemon juice eats away the dead skin and prevent flaking the sugar is just the substance of scrubbing.

Don't push the scrubbing substance too hard on your skin. You don't want to hurt your skin, so just lightly scrub your face.

Oh and one thing... you know how other scrubs ain't really kind when it comes into your mouth by accident? Well no need to worry! This stuff is sooooo yummy, it tastes like Lemonade !
